Strong Kids Campaign

Dear YMCA Friend,

Thank you in advance for considering making a contribution to our 2010 YMCA Strong Kids Campaign. The campaign dollars will be used for financial assistance, program development, & communicating the YMCA mission to our community.

I’m sure you hope as I do the YMCA will continue to be a strong, positive force in the lives of youth and families in this community. The YMCA is in a unique position to make an impact on our children’s future at an early age through our aquatics, mentoring, & sports programs. But, with the poverty rate rapidly approaching 70% many of our community members cannot take advantage of our YMCA programs. However, because of caring individuals, such as you and me, we can make a difference today that will have long term returns.

Your generous gift can provide the following services:

*$50                      A Youth sport for two children

*$100                    Swim lessons for four children

*$250                    Senior citizen yearly membership

*$500                    Summer Safe Camp for two children

*$1000                  Family yearly membership for two families

The Board of Directors has set a goal of $20,000.00 for 2010. Please join me in making a contribution towards the future of our community. Please fill out the enclosed campaign request form and kindly return it to the YMCA.

Sincerely,

Dr. Kent Webb                  Stacey Ontai
